Commissioning Engineer (Indianapolis, IN)
Our client, a leader in the Pharmaceutical industry, is currently hiring several Commissioning Engineers (Qualification (C&Q) Engineers), Direct Hire; the Commissioning Engineers are mid-level engineering roles responsible for independently executing commissioning and qualification activities while managing defined project scope. Roles will build on the foundation developed at Engineer I level, by adding greater ownership of systems, direct client interaction, and leadership of small technical tasks or sub-teams. The C&Q Engineer II ensures deliverables meet regulatory and client expectations while supporting project progress and team development.

These roles ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, supports project delivery excellence, and provides technical leadership to cross-functional teams, and offer a competitive compensation package along with significant opportunities for company growth in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute C&Q protocols with minimal supervision.
Take ownership of assigned systems or equipment within the project.
Prepare validation deliverables such as risk assessments, test plans, and summary reports.
Coordinate system-level C&Q activities with vendors, contractors, and clients.
Ensure execution complies with GMP, FDA, and client requirements.
Ensure all documents are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory standards.
Support internal and client audits as required.

Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in commissioning, qualification, or validation in a regulated manufacturing environment- Pharma, Biotech, Chemical, Med Device or related industries.
BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to manage assigned systems or project scope independently.
