Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Location: Tyler, TX (Fully Onsite)
Job Type: Direct Hire | Permanent
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $45,000–$70,000 base salary (DOE) + Quarterly Bonuses
Established insurance agency in Tyler, TX is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a fully onsite, permanent opportunity. This role offers long-term stability, growth potential, and bonus eligibility.
Commercial insurance experience is preferred; however, the client is also open to strong Account Managers from other industries with transferable skills, as well as entry-level insurance professionals (CSR or Personal Lines) ready to transition into Commercial Lines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:-
Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance coverages

Manage accounts within AMS360 (policy data, documentation, claims, submissions)

Quote new business and remarket renewals through carrier platforms

Communicate with carrier underwriters regarding new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations

Maintain accurate and organized client records

Assist clients with claims communication and coordination

Prepare Premium Finance Agreements and maintain proper documentation

Partner with producers to develop and maintain profitable insurance programs

3+ years Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred
OR -
Strong Account Management experience in a professional services environment
OR -
Entry-level insurance experience (CSR/Personal Lines) seeking growth into Commercial Lines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to explain coverage details clearly and effectively

Experience with agency management systems preferred (AMS360 a plus)
