Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • $71K - $85K per year
  • 3 weeks paid time off

What's a typical day as CNC Programmer? You'll be:

  • Developing, validating, and debugging numerical control programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes, providing necessary documentation.
  • Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and CNC machinists to meet project needs.
  • Supporting and improving machining and programming processes.
  • Implementing programming best practices to support common systems and platforms.
  • Designing and modifying tooling models and work holders using CAD software (CAMWorks).
  • Preparing manufacturing plans and routings to support component requirements.
  • Assisting in process development for existing and new components.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing process issues.

 

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Possess proven success as an advanced level CNC Machinist with NC Programming experience.
  • Have strong knowledge of machine, tool, fixture, work-holding, and die design; turning/milling proficiency.
  • Demonstrate high-level analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and computer literacy.
  • Bring 5-10 years of experience related to the key responsibilities.
  • Are familiar with PartMaker Swiss Programming software, CAD/CAM Software (NX, CAMWorks, SolidWorks are a plus).
  • Understand multi-axis machining, blueprint reading, GD&T, setup, and tooling techniques.
  • Have strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Are capable of setting up and operating all types of machines as needed.
  • Comply with ITAR and other US government security regulations (Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident).
