MACHINE OPERATOR
Experienced CNC Set-Up Technician 
Location:

• Temporary: 741 Winston St., West Chicago, IL
• Permanent: 2501 Sanders Road, Northbrook, IL (relocating Summer 2026)

Shifts & Pay: 1st shift and 2nd shift and 3rd
Pay depends on experience Are you passionate about precision CNC machining and ready to take on complex, high-mix, low-volume challenges?

What You'll Do:

• Set up HAAS 3/4-axis CNC mills, manage rotary tables, fixtures, and precise offsets
• Install, align, and indicate 4-axis rotary tables, tailstocks, and tombstones for flawless results
• Load, verify, and tweak multi-axis CNC programs for top performance
• Tackle first-article inspections, perform real-time adjustments, and troubleshoot 4-axis issues like a pro
• Optimize processes to streamline set-ups and maximize productivity
• Collaborate with engineers on fixtures, tooling, and process improvements
• Support high-mix, low-volume production with expert changeover abilities
• Share your knowledge: train and mentor CNC operators in safe, advanced multi-axis machining

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of CNC machining and HAAS set-up experience—especially on 4-axis machines
• Advanced skills operating HAAS rotary tables and managing complex fixturing
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation (position, profile, concentricity, runout)
• Proficiency in G-code (A-axis, tool planes, program prove-out)
• Hands-on ability with inspection and precision measurement for multi-axis work
