Pay Rate: $20 per hour

What's a typical day as a Clerk / Cash Application Specialist? You'll be:

• Accurately apply customer cash payments to open accounts receivable on assigned customer accounts using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Apply appropriate reason codes to variances between customer payments and amounts due, ensuring transparency in account discrepancies.
• Proactively communicate payment issues and discrepancies to credit and collections teams in a timely manner for resolution.
• Investigate and resolve unidentified customer payments to ensure proper account reconciliation before the month-end close cycle.
• Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• 2+ years of applicable work experience, particularly in reconciling variances in customer accounts.
• Proven ability to manage daily inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Strong process-focused work style with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently and adapt to a changing, fast-paced corporate environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Responsive and proactive approach to inquiries, acting with a sense of urgency.
• Competence in reconciling variances and resolving payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
