Location: Clearfield UT 84016 | Environment: Indoors & Climate-Controlled
Contract: W2 3-month temp to hire
Work Schedule:  Monday to Friday / 1st shift: 7:30 am - 4 pm (30 min break)


Are you a safety-conscious professional with experience in chemical manufacturing? We are looking for a dedicated Chemical Operator to join our team. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity in a modern, Lean-focused facility where teamwork and precision are our top priorities.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will manage the flow of materials and ensure our production plan is executed safely and efficiently. Key daily tasks include:

  • Chemical Transfer: Moving raw materials from storage to tanks.

  • Shipping & Receiving: Scheduling and performing the loading/unloading of tankers, rail cars, and totes.

  • Logistics & Packaging: Preparing non-hazardous chemicals in pails, drums, and totes for on-time delivery.

  • Data Management: Using SAP and Microsoft Office to document quality control, batch cards, and receiving.

  • Safe Operation: Operating 5K lb. propane sit-down forklifts and maintaining dock safety compliance.

What You Bring
  • Experience: 2+ years in chemical manufacturing or distribution (strongly preferred).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP (Production Module experience is a huge plus).

  • Safety First: A rock-solid commitment to EH&S, Quality, and Customer Service.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate a busy plant environment.

  • Communication: Excellent English reading/comprehension and basic math skills.
