Job Title: Chemical Engineering Technician
Location: West Valley City, UT
Work Schedule:

• Option 1: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10 hours/day)
• Option 2: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (8 hours/day)

Target Salary: $20-25/hr DOE

Kelly Science and Clinical is excited to share this opportunity as a Chemical Engineering Technician at a leading company in Bioenergy. The company is highly innovative in harnessing existing energy from Biomass and converting it into superior performance aviation fuel as well as carbon negative, bio polymers for various commercial products.

Overview:
The Chemical Engineering Technician is responsible for handling flammable liquids/material and handling of air/water sensitive materials. The technician must be able to adjust to changing environments and working conditions, and be able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues.

Required Must-haves:

• Education: BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Other: Must be capable of handling flammable liquids/materials and air/water-sensitive materials.
• Additional Requirements: Must be ITAR Compliant

Preferred:

• Instrumentation: Experience with GC, GC/MS, high-pressure reactors, distillation, and Schlenk line
• Industry Experience: Prior experience within the oil and refinery sector.

• FIT Test: Yes, will be provided
• Respirator: Yes, will be provided
• Steel Shoes: Yes, will be provided
• Flame Retardant Jumpsuits: Yes, will be provided
• Goggles/Face Shield: Yes, will be provided
