The company is  highly innovative in harnessing existing energy from Biomass and converting it into superior performance aviation fuel as well as carbon negative, bio polymers for various commercial products. Summary Details:

• Location: West Valley City, Utah
• Pay: $23-25/hour DOE
• Work Schedule:
  • 4x10: Monday – Thursday (10 hrs.) or
  • Monday – Friday (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) (8 Hrs.)

Job Description:
The Chemical Engineering Technician is responsible for handling flammable liquids/material and handling of air/water sensitive materials. The technician must be able to adjust to changing environments and working conditions, and be able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues. 

• Able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues

• Able to adjust to changing environments and working conditions

• Able to troubleshoot process/mechanical issues

Skills/Technical Expertise:

• GC, GC/MS, Glove box, high pressure reactors, experience with distillation, and Schlenk line.

• Must be ITAR Compliant

• Handling flammable liquids/material and handling of air/water sensitive materials 

Required:

• Education: BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• Prior Experience: Experience in oil and refinery environments please apply

• Additional: Goggles/Face Shield
