Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00 an hour

What's a typical day as a Bilingual Medical Receptionist? You'll be:
  • Warmly greeting and assisting patients in both English and Spanish, handling patient intake, check-in, and check-out efficiently
  • Scheduling and managing appointments using Athena Health software, ensuring accurate patient records
  • Verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, and processing payments
  • Performing administrative duties such as handling faxes, emails, and maintaining office supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED and are fluent in English and Spanish
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience in a medical front desk role with proficiency in Athena Health or similar EMR systems
  • Excel in communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Have a working knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with insurance processes
  • Are comfortable with basic computer skills and office software, and can work full-time during standard business hours
