Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment in Jackson, TN facility. This position requires expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems, along with the ability to perform preventative and emergency maintenance on CNC and conventional metalworking equipment.

Pay Rate: $31+/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Read and interpret machinery repair instructions, blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
  • Design and draft simple control circuits (electrical and mechanical).
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and assembly as needed.
  • Communicate with technical representatives to identify parts and procure components.
  • Conduct preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
  • Repair, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC machinery and other metalworking/finishing equipment.
  • Perform inspections and repairs related to PLC systems, hydraulic, and electrical controls.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Provide repair services for building and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for support and onsite repairs.
  Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing environment, with experience in CNC machinery (Mazak, Kitamura, Haas, and Miyano preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, debugging, and repairs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot CNC equipment, servo systems, and controls.
  • Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical repairs.
  • Physical/Mental Abilities:
  • Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment (Class I, II, IV, & V certification preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Preferred: Manufacturing maintenance technology program certification.
  • Preferred: Certification in PLC programming/debugging.
  • Additional: Ability to work from blueprints and drawings, and experience maintaining facility systems (e.g., plumbing, HVAC).
