Associate Technical Support Analyst

Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Location: Remote (exceptions: AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, IL, NJ, NY, VT, WA, WY.)
Position Type: 3-4 month contract
Schedules are on a first come first serve bases: 

  • Monday – Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM ET (1 hour lunch) (Saturday and Sunday off)
  • Tuesday – Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM ET (1 hour lunch) (Sunday and Monday off)
  • Wednesday – Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM ET (1 hour lunch) (Monday and Tuesday off)
  • Thursday – Monday 2 PM to 11 PM ET (1 hour lunch) (Tuesday and Wednesday off)
  • Friday – Tuesday 2 PM to 11 PM ET (1 hour lunch) (Wednesday and Thursday off)

What's a typical day as Associate Technical Support Analyst? You'll be:
  • Providing high-quality technical support to efficiently diagnose and resolve incidents reported by clients or end-users.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across iOS and Android devices, including phones, tablets, smart watches, earphones, and smart rings.
  • Supporting other internet-connected devices such as Bluetooth speakers, fitness trackers, smart TVs, and other consumer electronics.
  • Delivering excellent customer service while owning technical support issues from start to resolution.
  • Collaborating in a high-energy, fast-paced, and team-focused environment.
  • Documenting technical troubleshooting steps and outcomes, and providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Performing additional job-related duties as directed by management to meet business needs.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in technical troubleshooting, problem analytics, problem-solving, and end-user technical support.
  • Possess hands-on experience with mobile device support (iOS, Android, e-book readers, Fire Tablets, Kindle).
  • Are familiar with wearable technology (smart watches, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi headphones, headsets) and smart home devices (voice assistants, smart lights, smart TVs, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth speakers, home automation systems).
  • Have the ability to document technical steps and research solutions effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred).
  • Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, (Preferred)
  • Have 6 months of experience in a technical support role or equivalent, (Preferred)
  • Have experience providing support via phone and chat, and are familiar with support tools such as CRM, knowledge base, remote diagnostic, and collaboration tools, (Preferred)
