Assembly Operator
Pay Rate: $19.80/hour
Shift: Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
This is an entry-level Assembly Operator role responsible for supporting daily production activities, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare machines and equipment for daily production use

Perform in-process and final quality inspections

Utilize inspection tools and complete quality documentation accurately and independently

Understand and apply gauging and visual inspection techniques

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notifications

Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards

Communicate effectively with set-up personnel, technicians, and supervisors regarding operational issues

Ensure products meet all quality and specification requirements
Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
-
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
-
Experience working with mechanical systems preferred
Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in the use of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators)

Ability to interpret inspection data and maintain accurate records
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

Basic computer navigation and data entry skills

Ability to read and write in English

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs consistently

Ability to push/pull up to 180 lbs using a hand dolly

Repetitive hand movements (rotated daily)

Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing during 8–10 hour shifts

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, including exposure to heat
