Assembly Operator

Pay Rate: $19.80/hour
Shift: Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Summary

This is an entry-level Assembly Operator role responsible for supporting daily production activities, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare machines and equipment for daily production use

• Perform in-process and final quality inspections

• Utilize inspection tools and complete quality documentation accurately and independently

• Understand and apply gauging and visual inspection techniques

• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notifications

• Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards

• Communicate effectively with set-up personnel, technicians, and supervisors regarding operational issues

• Ensure products meet all quality and specification requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience working with mechanical systems preferred

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in the use of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators)

• Ability to interpret inspection data and maintain accurate records

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

• Basic computer navigation and data entry skills

• Ability to read and write in English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs consistently

• Ability to push/pull up to 180 lbs using a hand dolly

• Repetitive hand movements (rotated daily)

• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing during 8–10 hour shifts

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, including exposure to heat

• Steel-Toe Shoes Required
