Description

Employment: Contract, 6 months 

Shift: 6:00AM to 6:00PM, 2-2-3 rotation schedule (work two days, off two days, work three days, then rotate) 

Pay Rate: $15/hr 

Summary of Responsibilities: 
This role involves assembling and testing components, following safety and quality standards, and completing documentation accurately. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced setting. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble and test mechanical or electrical gas meter components using hand and power tools. 

  • Follow safety policies, quality standards, and site-specific training guidelines. 

  • Read and interpret simple assembly drawings, instructions, and color codes. 

  • Perform PVC thermal welding, thread taping, and other basic assembly tasks. 

  • Accurately enter work hours and complete production documentation in ERP system (ShopVue). 

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment through daily housekeeping/5S audits. 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in meeting customer needs. 

  • Inspect and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
