Salary: $25.00 per hour  Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, during the growing season, with overtime during harvest and planting season ***THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER***

What's a typical day as Agricultural Trials Assistant You'll be:

• Assisting with planting, evaluating, harvesting, and processing soybean trials for research and development
• Overseeing and implementing field trials and demonstrations of soybeans across the Eastern Corn Belt (MI, IN, OH, KY)
• Conducting in-season plot maintenance and collecting data, including soil and plant samples
• Operating and maintaining specialized plot farm equipment (combines, tractors, sprayers, tillage, planting equipment, UTVs) and company vehicles
• Ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized manner, following all applicable SOPs
• Following all safety programs, maintaining training, and ensuring compliance

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have recent work experience within an agricultural or outdoor environment (required)
• Are self-motivated, reliable, and safety conscious
• Possess clear and collaborative communication skills
• Are able to lift 35 pounds
• Have strong attention to detail
• Can operate, or are willing to learn to operate, specialized small plot machinery
• Are PC literate, with some knowledge of Microsoft Office and email preferred
