1st Shift schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:45 AM – 3:15 PM

12-month contract assignment

Hands-on role in a team-oriented, safety-focused manufacturing environment
-
Gain valuable experience producing composite aircraft components
-
Manufacturing composite aircraft parts to meet specifications in a team-oriented environment
-
Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations
-
Inspecting work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection
-
Maintaining and updating production logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.)
-
Supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives and participating in continuous improvement activities
-
Maintaining a neat, orderly, and safe work area while supporting FOD and 5S programs
-
Operating forklifts and overhead cranes as needed

Performing additional duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED
-
At least one (1) year of composite experience

Experience working with composite resins and materials
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a 6” scale
-
Basic computer skills
-
Forklift and overhead crane experience

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
