Administrative Assistant I 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Public Safety Center Call Center. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting voters with data entry and phone calls. This position is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Temporary
- Location: Springfield, MO 
- Pay Rate: $15 per hour
- Shift: M T W Th F 8am to 5pm (four days a week)
- Duration: July 22 through August 5, 2024

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist voters by providing data entry support and handling phone calls in a call center environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of voter information into the system.
- Respond to voter inquiries and provide exceptional customer service over the phone.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and objectives.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent 
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain composure in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of voter registration processes and regulations is a plus.
