What You'll Do
- Manage the tax workflow by assembling and sending tax returns, coordinating filings and extensions, and tracking return status
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients by requesting missing documentation, managing inquiries, and providing updates
- Support billing and accounts receivable activities, including invoice preparation and payment recording
- Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity
- Download, scan, store, and organize documents to maintain clean, searchable records
- Provide administrative and scheduling support to keep daily operations running smoothly
What You'll Bring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills; experience with Adobe and PDF editing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-through abilities
- Professional demeanor, tech-savvy mindset, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a CPA firm or tax/accounting support role
- Exposure to Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
- Familiarity with tax and accounting terminology
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Role Details & Benefits
- Full-time, on-site position
- Location: Parsippany, NJ
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
