Job Posting: Administrative Assistant – 1st Shift
Location: Manchester, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, ~6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | On-Site Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on 1st shift. This temp-to-hire role supports both administrative and operational functions, including scheduling, inventory coordination, and general office tasks. Ideal candidates will have prior administrative experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain delivery schedules and truck routes
  • Support inventory processes with both physical checks and system entries
  • Cross-reference information across multiple computer programs
  • Create and manage spreadsheets, Word documents, and records
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, scheduling meetings, and communication
  • Collaborate with production and office teams to ensure operational accuracy
  • Use SRP and internal systems to update inventory and scheduling data
  • Maintain accurate and organized records across departments
  • Assist in planning and coordinating departmental needs
  • Support team initiatives and cross-training opportunities
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • Prior experience in an administrative or scheduling role (preferred)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse environments (a plus)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take direction
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Motivated, team-oriented, and respectful of others
