Kelly Services is looking for an Accounting Payable Clerk I for the Fort Worth, TX 76177 area.
 
M-F, 8am to 5pm, Onsite
Payrate: $22.00
 
Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk III will perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments and prepare accounting statements and financial reports.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports and various accounting statements.
  • Post journal entries to general ledger.
  • Generate summary sheets to be used by supervisor or auditor.
  • Process payroll and prepares necessary payroll reports.
  • Proof accounting reports for clerical accuracy.
  • Allocate expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Ability to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
  • Highly organized and willing to engage with internal departments and external auditors to comply with filing and reporting requirements
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures, with ability to train others in related practices and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with some bookkeeping coursework.
  • Five to seven years of related experience required.
