Job Title: Accounting Manager

Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization in Hiram, GA. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity offering the chance to work closely with leadership in a high-impact role.
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will ensure financial records remain accurate, reporting deadlines are met, and internal controls align with GAAP standards. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, sales reports, and cash forecasts

Lead annual budget preparation and update quarterly forecasts

Reconcile monthly sales and order intake reports by product group, including revenue recognition

Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

Reconcile affiliate-company payables and confirm month-end balances

Maintain fixed asset schedules, including capitalization and disposals

Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and variance analysis

Work with multiple exchange rates as applicable

Coordinate required documentation for tax calculations
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Direct cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
