Direct Hire CNC Programmer & Set-up Operator 
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule: 1st shift 6a-4p M-Fri 
Pay: $25–$33/hour

About the Role

Kelly is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation—especially with Swiss lathes and mills. If you're detail-oriented, safety-focused, and passionate about precision machining, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
  • Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment
  • Review production orders and communicate scheduling issues
  • Ensure high-quality output with minimal scrap
  • Perform minor programming adjustments and tool changes
  • Lead by example in punctuality, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of precision machining experience
  • Experience with CNC Swiss lathes and mills
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments
  • Familiarity with GD&T and CNC programming codes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
