Our Sr Payroll Coordinator (In-House Temporary) is accountable for:
- Executing specific work instructions in the garnishment department to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of service delivery
- Collaborating independently with colleagues across different levels and external legal entities, highlighting effective communication skills
- Proposing process improvements to enhance efficiency without negatively impacting the organization, demonstrating strategic thinking
- Handling high-risk deadlines that range from one to ten days, ensuring strict compliance with court-mandated timelines
- Communicating diligently with federal/state agencies and other entities regarding garnishment orders and providing accurate reporting to leadership
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experiences:
- Associates Degree and CPP preferred in Payroll, Wage & Hour, General Business
- 2-4 years of experience in Payroll, Legislative Wage & Hour
- Garnishment experience is a plus
- MS Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to quickly and adeptly shift priorities
- Act with urgency to meet tight deadlines
- Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
This is an In-House Temporary position paying $22-$26 per hour
