Description
The Crisis Team member is an authorized Licensed Mental Health Professional, having completed all requirements for Los Angeles County LPS designation to evaluate and/or place mentally disordered persons meeting criteria for Involuntary Hospitalizations on 5150 Holds to Verdugo Hills Hospital for 72-hour emergency intervention. The Crisis Team Member will coordinate assessment information with the Medical Director, Program Director and/or Clinical Director/Charge Nurse and appropriate Community Agencies prior to disposition or transport.
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.00 - $45.20. Experience/Knowledge: - Minimum three years current experience as a Licensed Mental Health Professional working with adult, geriatric and orthopedic patients, recent psychiatric experience preferred. License/Certification: - Licensed Mental Health Professional. - Current BCLS certification - AB 508 Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer into the department, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
