Are you interested in being a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Supervisor? 

 

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for HYBRID SLPA supervision with Republic R-III School District in Republic, MO.

Position Details: The supervising SLP will be responsible for providing on-site and virtual supervision and support to a newly licensed SLPA. The SLP will provide two, full-day visits per month, minimum, on different days. Per MO state laws, The supervising SLP shall have the first initial contact with all patients/clients/students on the assistant's caseload, so the SLP will need full-time availability either the first week of school or the second. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
  • Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire supervisory experience 
  • Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP (SSG can provide if needed)   

 

Compensation: Our SLPs are paid a monthly stipend for supervision per SLPA that is supervised.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology 
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
