School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Full-Time Autism & Multiple Disabilities Classrooms | 2026–2027 School Year Location: New Jersey
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 35  Hours/Week
Pay: $60–$70/hour

Position Overview This BCBA will provide global behavioral supports across Autism and Multiple Disabilities inclusion classrooms rather than maintaining one fixed caseload. The district currently has one additional behaviorist on staff, providing opportunities for collaboration and shared support. Grade Levels: 9–12+ Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 7 billable hours per day
• 30-minute lunch
• 35 hours per week

Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support in classroom settings
• Train teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis
• Modify interventions based on student outcomes
• Collaborate with special education teams, school psychologists, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring state and federal compliance
• Support inclusion classrooms through coaching and consultation
• Partner with the Child Study Team (CST) during student evaluations and assessments

Candidates Must Be Comfortable

• Working with secondary-aged students (Grades 9–12+)
• Supporting students with Autism, Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairments (OHI), and behavioral challenges
• Working in both General Education and Special Education settings
• Supporting medically fragile students
• Managing a variety of behaviors and classroom needs
• Adapting to changing caseloads based on district needs

Qualifications

• Current BCBA Certification (Required)
• Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of BCBA experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• School-based experience preferred
• Additional NJDOE certifications (Teaching, School Psychology, etc.) preferred but not required
