PURPOSE OF POSITION:
- The Bilingual Process Documentation Intern focuses on building and maintaining the company's internal knowledge base by accurately entering and translating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into our internal Wiki platform in both English and Spanish.
- This role is foundational to company's operational success. By ensuring processes are accurately documented, translated, and maintained, the intern helps create a reliable single source for SOP documentation that supports training, consistency, compliance, and scalability across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The intern will be responsible for:
- Reviewing existing SOP documents
- Formatting and uploading content into the internal Wiki using proper structure, headings, links and wiki syntax
- Translating SOPS between English and Spanish with attention to clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy
- This position offers hands-on experience with technical documentation, bilingual content management, and Wiki-based knowledge systems, and is ideal for detail-oriented individuals interested in operations, process documentation, or knowledge management.
- Upload, organize, and maintain operational documents within the Wiki System
- Translate policies, procedures, and process documentation between English and Spanish with precision and consistency
- Ensure documentation aligns with formatting, integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the operations management system
- Partner with IT, Operations, and Communications teams to clarify, standardize and improve process documentation
- Identify gaps, redundancies, or outdated materials

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No direct supervisory responsibilities for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position is performed indoors.
- This job operates in an office that is climate controlled and includes hazards typical to that environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICALITY REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- The employee must have the ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a part-time position.
- Part time hours cannot exceed an average of 30 hours per week over the year's timeframe.
- The scheduling and hours of a part-time employee are determined based off employee availability along with farm/department needs.
TRAVEL
- No travel is required for this position.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluency in both written and verbal communication is required (or is preferred depending on the job description)
- Education/ Experience: Course work or interest in Information Systems, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- Familiarity with process documentation, SOPs, or continuous improvement frameworks
- Experience with documentation tools or content management system Support continuous improvement or documentation workflows and system usability
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage and structure large volumes of information
- Comfort working within digital systems, databases, or Wiki- style platforms
- Ability to handle confidential or proprietary information with professionalism
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
