Intertek's Survey Services team offers unprecedented gains for clients working in the offshore and process industries to shorten project duration, improve site safety, increase accuracy, reduce field time and minimal rework. Intertek onshore and offshore surveying services help customers meet engineering, construction, and asset record challenges.

What are we looking for?

The Advanced Inspection Specialty Services (AISS) UAV Drone Entry Level Pilot is a multi-skilled field specialist to be trained in UAV Services & Data Processing. 

In UAV Services, The Entry Level Pilot will assist and work to be a certified part 107 UAS pilot responsible for executing all aspects of UAV missions including UAV mission flying, GPS ground control point capture and other field tasks as needed. The UAV Field Specialist will fly a variety of field missions including Surveying & Mapping, Visual asset inspection, Thermal inspections etc. In addition, the UAV Entry Level field specialist will assist with data processing and deliverable preparation. 

Successful Candidate will have diverse computer skills including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Interview Process

1st Phone or Web Conference (Teams) – Initial Interview

2st round  - In-Person interview- Test Assessments – Oral/Written

3rd Round – In Person interview – Manager Interview

 

Shift/Schedule:  8 AM to 5 PM Daily, with occasion overtime

Salary & Benefits Information

What you'll do:

  • Execute UAV Projects/3D Scanning and additional field duties as needed.
  • Maintain UAVs/3D Scanning equipment in optimal condition.
  • Processing, Photo, Video, Photogrammetry, LIDAR or other types of point cloud data in various software programs depending on client deliverables. 
  • Compile and submit daily reports, inspection reports, and inter-office communications including completed performance/inspection reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a positive relationship between clients, facility, and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards coworkers.
  • Ensures that all Intertek and site safety policies and procedures are being followed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate
  • Able to pass Annual, recurring and random Drug tests comprising of Urine, Hair, Breathalyzer tests etc.
  • Able to pass background checks for the purpose of qualifying for TWIC Cards. 
  • Able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Ability to work on offshore facilities such as drill ships, FPSOs, semi-submersibles, production platforms, etc. 
  • Operate a vehicle safely in oil and gas facilities and field sites.
  • Model Intertek's 10X Energies at all times within the work place, practicing business the right way
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management 
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Valid Drivers License With Reliable Driving Record Is Required
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Survey/GIS field experience and related software is a plus
