Timekeeper - Ferndale, WA

 

Intertek is searching for a Timekeeper to join our Asset Integrity Management (AIM) team working in a client facility in Ferndale, WA.  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career Industry Services! Intertek's Asset Integrity Management team provides asset life management support to infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion, metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality Assurance.

 

The Timekeeperhas several key functions in support of the inspection department and inspection staff.

 

What you'll do:

  • Complete and send to client representative a Daily Force Report by Craft (Headcount)
  • Reviewing daily gate logs and posting billable time to employee timesheets and verifying that the two agree
  • Interface with the client and obtain Daily Gate logs for entering the Daily Time
  • Obtain and return from the client their document for tracking daily cost to the project and submit at the required time daily
  • Other tasks as assigned

    Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $23.00-$28.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.   In addition to competitive compensation packages, Intertek employees are eligible for a variety of benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, medical plan options, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.

 

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • Required: High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (preferred).
  • Valid TWIC Card (required)
  • Experience with CCTS, SAP, Track, and EVO preferred
  • 20 Hour HFFT preferred
  • Must be punctual
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well with others
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent (written and verbal) in the English language.
  • Possess a high level of familiarity with MS Office Suite and PDF editing software such as Adobe or Foxit,
  • Capable of formatting Word and Excel files
  • Prior payroll timekeeping experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of Washington payroll is a plus
  • Capable of problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision
