Evaluation Services - Technical Analyst
Intertek is searching for a Technical Analyst to join our Evaluation Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the TIC industry! The Technical Analyst is responsible for managing certification projects.
What you'll do:
Work on simulation of fenestration products for the Canadian and US market.
Develop detailed test plans and evaluation protocols based on research findings.
Prepare technical and certification documentation derived from test results and evaluations.
Prepare Listings for compliance to the US and Canadian Building Codes.
Perform audits and product sampling at client manufacturing facilities.
Collaborate closely with sales, laboratory, and technical teams to support seamless project execution.
Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery with continuous communication with clients.
Participate actively in industry committees, standards development activities, and technical association meetings.
What it takes to be in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Applied Science is preferred
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in simulation work.
Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian model building codes and their application.
Demonstrated expertise in certification pathways, product evaluations, and regulatory approval processes.
Salary & Benefits Information
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year.
