What are we looking for?

The Technician II is responsible for performing electrical testing and evaluation on a variety of products to the provisions of U.S., Canadian and other International product safety standards, writing reports and communicating with clients. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:

  • Set up and operate standard test equipment. Use hand tools to build/calibrate test fixtures. 
  • Maintain equipment and facilities.
  • Prepare test samples.
  • Obtain and record test date in accordance with standards.
  • Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
  • May draft technical reports.
  • Perform other work as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years of experience hands-on technical field (ex: HVAC, Electrical, Trade Apprentice, Lab Tech, QA/QC Tech, etc.)
  • Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs dictate
  • Excellent interpersonal and demonstrated communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with excellent organization and time-management skills 
  • Microsoft Office software experience is a must have
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Applicants will be required to complete an I-9 to verify their eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States

 

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • Experience with IT servers and data servers
