Director of Business Development – Remote

What are we looking for?
The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with current clients to increase revenue.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
- Marketing and selling of established laboratory testing services.
- Identifies and evaluates possible new markets and new customers for existing offerings.
- Identifies and evaluates possible new products that fit our capabilities.
- Generates quotes and orders for customer as required, utilizing internal business processes.
- Gives input for sales forecast (quarterly/yearly).
- Generates monthly sales activity log through client tracking system.
- Reviews pricing of products as required and discuss client feedback relative to the industry.
- Involved in the development of quality marketing materials.
- Implements customer-specific action plans.
- Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree, required
- 5 + years of sales experience with documented sales successes and achievements.
Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills. - Must be able to manage effectively in a face-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to deliver high level presentations to prospects and clients.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Operations leadership
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written formats and ability to listen effectively
- Ability to promote an effective working relationship at all levels and create a positive work environment
- Ability to promote the vision of the sales organization in a clear and concise manner
- Proven experience as a valued contributor to the management team in strategically supporting the business through growth and/or change

- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
Must be customer focused and quality driven
Ability to travel as business needs dictate - This position will travel at least 25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.
- This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.

- Degree field preferred: Technical, Chemistry and MBA
