**Reports To: ** Executive Director and Resident Care Director
**Job Summary: **
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Delegate to join our healthcare team. The RN Delegate will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing oversight, support, and clinical guidance to nursing staff and assisting in the management of nursing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to promoting best practices in nursing care.
**Key Responsibilities: **
1. **Clinical Oversight: **
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with established standards of nursing practice, policies, and procedures.
2. **Patient Care Coordination: **
- Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans in consultation with the healthcare team.
3. **Quality Improvement: **
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development and implementation of policies to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data related to nursing performance, safety, and patient satisfaction.
4. **Regulatory Compliance: **
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies in all aspects of nursing practice.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys and inspections.
5. **Patient and Family Education: **
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Advocate for patients' needs and help them navigate the healthcare system.
**Qualifications: **
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum nursing experience, preferably in assisted living.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies.
**Physical Requirements: **
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Endurance to respond quickly in emergency situations.
