**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Medication Technician to join our team. In this dual role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring they receive the assistance they need with daily living activities and medication management. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Personal Care Assistance:**
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful social interactions to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

2. **Medication Management:**
- Administer prescribed medications and document in accordance with care plans and legal regulations.
- Ensure the safe storage and handling of medications, and maintain accurate records of all medications administered.
- Educate clients and their families about medication schedules and potential side effects.

3. **Household Support:**
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping as needed to promote a comfortable living environment.
- Help clients maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living space.

4. **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Maintain clear and timely communication regarding care provided and any changes in clients' conditions.

5. **Compliance and Training:**
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, confidentiality policies, and care standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Certification as a Medication Technician (or equivalent) and experience in caregiving.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and managing side effects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift, move, and assist clients as needed.
- Capable of standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including client homes and healthcare facilities.
