**Job Title: Caregiver**

**Location:** Allen Place- Atlantic, IA

**Shift:** 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**Position Type:** Full-Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team during the evening shift.

**Job Summary:**
As a Caregiver, you will provide direct assistance and support to our clients during the afternoon and evening hours. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the care they need in a safe and comforting environment. You will work closely with clients to support their daily activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their physical health.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team regarding care needs and any concerns that arise.
- Document care provided and report any significant changes in a client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a caregiver or home health aide is preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field is desirable.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must pass background checks and comply with health and safety regulations.
