Our laboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registry eligible, histotechnologist who believes in our Lab#s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include tissue embedding and cutting, gross examination, frozen sections, H#E and IHC staining, cytology prep, send-out test processing, maintaining equipment and clerical duties.# REQUIREMENTS:#Associate#s Degree or graduate of an accredited program as a Histotechnologist; certification as a Histotechnologist (HT/HTL,#ASCP), or eligible for certification; one year of recent experience as a Histotechnologist, including Immunohistochemistry and Frozen Section process Applicants must have: A passion for caring for a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive to learn new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
