HOK is seeking a Student Intern to support our Sports + Recreation + Entertainment team in Kansas City. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to a wide range of sports, recreation and entertainment venues while assisting in the cataloging and analysis of past project work. The intern will review historical project records, extract critical data, and help build a comprehensive knowledge repository that enhances how project information is organized, accessed, and leveraged across the practice. Responsibilities Analyze and mine historical project files to identify key data points, benchmarking metrics, and relevant resource materials Organize information into a centralized, streamlined, and accessible file structure Develop greater consistency in how project information is stored and referenced across the organization Interpret and compile information from a variety of internal and external sources Support ongoing knowledge management initiatives within the Sports + Recreation + Entertainment team Education & Experience Currently enrolled in an Architecture or related degree program Previous internship experience with an architectural or interior design firm preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills Ability to interpret, synthesize, and organize information from varied sources Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Revit preferred Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook Familiarity with sustainability principles, integrated design, and LEED guidelines preferred Experience with 3D modeling software preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a collaborative team environment #LI-CN1
