Description

Hoist & Crane Service Group is looking for a motivated, service operations professionals with elevator experience. HCSG's Industrial Elevator Service Group is growing and is looking for an experienced adjuster to add to the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising elevator mechanics, providing technical support to field personnel, and assisting with branch operations.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leading and scheduling work in the branch
  • Assisting field with troubleshooting
  • Field associate safety
  • Field efficiency
  • Labor and material costs management
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Estimating repairs, service work, and modernization
  • Ordering and sourcing elevator parts for repairs
  • Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Greater New Orleans, LA area.

Qualifications

The qualified Elevator Adjustor will be able to pass drug, alcohol, background, and motor vehicle checks and will have the following:

  • Strong knowledge of elevators, elevator service contracting, and elevator service estimating is required
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft based computer software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Oracle (NetSuite a Plus)
  • Elevator experience and understanding of repair and service of elevators
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly team-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
