Description  
Full-Time entry-level Import Compliance Business Specialist enjoy: 

• Starting wage of $18.50 an hour 
• Monday through Friday work week 
• In-Office hours of 8-5 every day 

And will work with Hobby Lobby's freight forwarder, ensuring vendors book cargo to Hobby Lobby 
standards and track cargo across multiple modes of transportation, ensuring the cargo continues to flow 
on time. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist with Hobby Lobby CTPAT program 
• Monitor trade compliance regulations 
• Analyze business processes and procedures for compliance with regulations 
• Complete compliance audits of high-risk trade programs / SKUs 
• Make recommendations to mitigate risk 
• Conduct research and compile data into spreadsheets for reporting 
• Prepare for and attend meetings with international transportation providers 
• Escalate issues to the necessary parties as they arise 
• Duties and responsibilities of this position may vary according to the needs of the office 
• Populate editable PDF documents. 

Requirements

• Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved 
• Monitors and checks your work for accuracy before turning it in 
• Organizes time and resources efficiently, meeting deadlines through goal setting 
• Problem solving, using logic and imagination to come up with an intelligent solution to situations 
• Can actively anticipate potential future problems and act to prevent or mitigate them 
• Clearly expresses thoughts in written and spoken form 
• Ability to learn and adapt to many web-based reporting tools 
• Microsoft Office experience with the following programs:
  • Microsoft Excel abilities matching the description found at the Excel Website 
  • Microsoft Word experience mirroring the description at the Word Website 
  • Microsoft Outlook skillset in keeping with the description at the Outlook Website 

Education & Experience 

• Combination of 2 + years' work experience or education in related field 
• Previous logistics experience a plus
