Summary:

The Senior SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for providing strategic SAP functional leadership across core business operations and project initiatives. This role delivers comprehensive day‑to‑day SAP support and ensures seamless integration with external systems and technology partners. The analyst leads large‑scale, cross‑functional projects from inception through delivery, directing internal teams and managing external resources to achieve key organizational outcomes. Success in this position requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, the ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP solutions, and a focus on driving operational efficiency and enterprise performance.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide cross‑functional SAP operational support, including system configuration, module integration, and Level 2–3 help desk issue resolution
  • Support Help Desk ticket resolution and assist with SAP education and troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain SAP configuration documentation, testing plans, and related process materials
  • Translate business process requirements into clear functional specifications for technical and business teams
  • Assist with SAP integrations, including external and third‑party tools (e.g., Salesforce, Evolve, Kofax, Concur, UKG)
  • Develop SAP queries and reporting tools (Report Writer/Report Painter)
  • Support additional SAP functional areas as needed and participate in project‑related tasks
  • Lead or support IT‑approved work‑list requests and contribute to IT project approvals
  • Work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • BS/BA or AD Degree in IT or Business Administration
  • 7-10+ years SAP experience -  cross function SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Strong functional SAP knowledge and high level of software/application skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities along with analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime and travel when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and managers at all levels within the company
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)

This position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Accordingly, applicants must be U.S. Persons or must be eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
