This position is responsible for the review and administration of employee workplace accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act/ADA, intake and administration of HCSC Workers Compensation claims in collaboration with the designated vendor who manages these claims, review of health-related leaves and absence management escalations from internal sources and third-party vendors. These accountabilities include case review and escalations related to medical leaves of absence, short and long-term disability cases, unpaid medical leaves of absence and the reporting, investigation, tracking and management of Workers' Compensation claims. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight for OSHA tracking, complaint response and reporting, administration of the Reasonable Suspicion drug testing program, providing emergency response guidance, and immediate need response for employees..

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current, valid license and 3 years as an RN in a clinical role and/or a physician setting.
  • Customer service experience and customer service skills and orientation.
  • Verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • PC knowledge to include word processing.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience working in Occupational Health/Employee Health specifically ADA guidelines, FMLA, PWFA, Workers' Compensation Laws, OOSHA requirements and BLS reporting.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse or Certified Case Manager.
  • Disability Case management with emphasis on return to work.

This is a Telecommute (Remote) role:  Must reside within 250 miles of the office or anywhere within the posted states of IL or TX.
