Job Summary Located in Chicago, IL, this position is responsible for leading the strategy development in alignment of business goals for learning solutions within. Responsible for fostering partnerships with business and operational leadership for delivery of effective learning solutions. Accountable for determining training requirements through knowledge of divisional business plans, ongoing evaluation results, and consultation with human resources and divisional business partners. This position is also responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of learning and development solutions, as well as providing industry best practice and new approaches in learning design and delivery methodologies that apply to business challenges. This position manages and develops other learning & development consultative and professionals; leads learning strategy and planning meetings; partners with core learning & development team to enable high level prioritization, assignment, guidance and direction on the analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of learning programs and initiatives; manages execution to support business priorities and ensures that educational strategies yield business outcomes.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree plus 6 years of experience developing and managing large scale corporate environment training programs, measurements, budget, learning and development projects OR 10 or more years of experience developing and managing large scale corporate environment training programs, measurements, budget, learning and development projects
* 2+ years of leadership experience supervising, developing, and coaching a team of exempt/professional staff
* Experience delivering business results through learning and development based focused solutions
* Experience in providing internal consulting
* Experience building relationships with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, subject matter experts
* Strong verbal and presentation skills in a variety of settings and at all levels in the organization
* Clear and concise written communication skills
* Experience with professional skills development models and practices
* Knowledge of current/emerging adult learning theories, instructional design and development practices
* Experience with Learning Management Systems and other virtual/remote learning technologies, including social media
* Experience with learning evaluation approaches
* Flexible and adaptable; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Proven effectiveness working in a matrixed environment – both within HR and the business

Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Development, Organizational Development, or Organizational Psychology or Education
* Master Degree in Human Resources Development, Organizational Development, or Organizational Psychology or Education
* Knowledge of health insurance processes, health care reform and industry practices
* Training industry designation(s) such as Certified Professional Technologist (ISPI), Managed Health Care Professional (AHIP).

*  Experience managing team of Learning Partners.

*  Knowledge of Clinical Medical Services business.

We offer a flexible work schedule of 3 days in the office each week and up to 2 days working form home.
