Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists the pharmacist in the performance of the pharmacy daily routine. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal laws, JCAHO Standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida License as Pharmacy Technician
• Completion of a board approved pharmacy technician training program. An accredited vocational education as a certified pharmacy technician is preferred.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience in unit dose and IV admixture. Must be able to mix chemotherapy if assigned to IV room on regular basis.
