Description

The Office Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for serving as the welcoming presence of Fusion Education Group by greeting guests and team members in a warm, sincere and upbeat manner. This position will answer the phone with a helpful attitude and serves as the local office coordinator by managing various office requirements and needs including but not limited to kitchen organization and supplies, general working supplies, and the overall presentation and cleanliness of our beautiful space. Additional tasks include administrative support to the executive assistant and some executives as needed with mail distribution, campus interaction and communication, calendar scheduling of specific events, parking and building entry tracking, mail merges, excel and word data input and file creation, concur travel and expense management and other projects as assigned.

Candidate must be ready to:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the phone is answered in a quick, warm and upbeat manner. 
  • Provide a welcoming experience at the front desk.
  • Create and maintain professional and positive relationships with all team members and guests, providing an awesome, consistent celebrity experience.
  • Maintain and organize the front desk and surrounding areas.
  • Effectively/proactively manage kitchen and general office supplies.
  • Provide support to the executive assistant and other team members with events, mailings, meetings, etc., as requested
  • Shipping and mailing of packages

Requirements for this position include at least three years of administrative experience in a professional office setting. Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, well-organized individual who is proactive and eager to work in a highly dynamic, energetic and fast-paced environment. Currently, this position is part time and hourly, 4-5 hours a week in person and will report to the executive assistant.
