Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA Federal, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers SAIC and Amentum, has a vacancy for a Human Capital Associate (HCA). The HCA will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to the Human Capital Management (HCM) department. This is a fast-paced, high volume position and perfect for a self-starter.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors shared mailboxes and phone lines for possible HCM actions
  • Runs/reviews reports daily
  • Data entry in ADP Vantage and Costpoint

Pre-employment activities:

  • Processes background checks, employment verifications and new hire paperwork. Mitigates and escalates issues
  • Generates Security Handover files for selected candidates
  • Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) requisitions consistent with employment actions and customer requirements

Post-employment activities:

  • Processes data changes in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and financial system (Costpoint)
  • Administers eI-9 verification process
  • Processes unemployment claims in a timely manner
  • Works collaboratively with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team to off-board terminated employees, to include collecting and reviewing exit information and surveys
  • Supports Random Drug Testing Program
  • Coordinates with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Investigators
  • Assists with the implementation, administration, and reporting of HCM surveys
  • Maintains employee files and stores relevant documents
