Position Summary:

Seeking qualified candidates for a Receiving Clerk to support our production facility. This position is responsible for day-to-day receiving and material flow requirements to support the factory. The individual will also provide support to the production department as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Signs for and inspects all incoming packages/shipments.  Responsible for documenting any damage with carriers on appropriate paperwork.
• Counts and verifies materials received match quantities and descriptions on packing slips. 
• Enters/records receiving transactions in QuickBooks and turns in paperwork to manager.
• Places merchandise in stockroom or routes to appropriate storage location utilizing material handling tools (carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklift).
• Organizes and maintains stockroom to maximize use of space and ease of locating parts.
• Packs and ships various items in a neat and professional manner.
• As needed, drive vans as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
   

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

Self-motivated to work independently, and as part of a collaborative team

• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Must be insurable to drive/move vans
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS diploma or equivalent

Experience: 

• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred
• Strong preference for QuickBooks experience
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
