Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a test technician located in Aguascalientes :

The Test Technician position focused on the inspection area is directly related to the timely detection of defects in electronic boards at the SMT level. This role involves generating reports, status updates, improvements, prevention actions, and corrective actions within the electronic board inspection process, all with the objective of improving lead times, costs, automation, detection, measurements, etc. It covers both the software and hardware of inspection equipment. Deliverables include emails, tables, systems, records, and historical data within the previously described process.

What a typical day looks like:

• Raise the status of SMT production lines (what is running and how it is running)
• Perform 5S review on all inspection equipment
• Validate remote connections on applicable lines
• Validate software used for activity reporting and various dashboards
• Provide rapid response and resolution to line stoppages caused by inspection equipment (programming, debugging, physical transfer, data transfer, among others)
• Possible installation, relocation, or improvement of inspection equipment (hardware and software)
• Handover of key points or pending issues to engineering and the technical team of the next shift

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Email correspondence and messaging management
• Knowledge and application of 5S methodology
• Knowledge of SMT components
• Networking knowledge
• Proficiency in CAD‑type software
