To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Technician (NPI) located in Aguascalientes
Reporting to the Test Engineer / NPI Lead, this role is responsible for supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by developing, validating, troubleshooting, and releasing test processes and equipment to production. This position plays a critical role in ensuring test readiness, process stability, and a successful transition from NPI to mass production.
What a typical day looks like:
- Duties performed in this role vary depending on the business unit, location, or product being manufactured. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supports NPI builds, pilot runs, and validation activities, ensuring test readiness and execution
- Performs advanced troubleshooting and debug at system, subassembly, and PCBA level
- Analyses test failures, logs, and yield trends to identify root cause and implement corrective actions
- Configures and validates network communication (Ethernet, IP configuration, connectivity, ping validation) between units and test systems
- Supports test station bring-up, validation (FAT/SAT), and release to production
- Works with engineering to validate and improve test sequences, fixtures, and test coverage
- Contributes to the definition and improvement of test methods and processes for new products
- Provides technical leadership on the production floor, acting as escalation point for complex issues
- Supports operator training, certification, and development of manufacturing instructions (MPI)
- Ensures test processes comply with quality, safety, and production requirements
- Maintains equipment readiness and stability during NPI phase, supporting preventive maintenance activities
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience with solid technical background in test or manufacturing environments
• Strong experience in test, troubleshooting, and NPI (pilot builds, ramp-up)
• Proven ability to troubleshoot at system, electrical, and functional levels
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) and network configuration (Ethernet, IPs)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and test documentation
• Strong skills in failure analysis, log interpretation, and root cause identification
• Experience supporting test station validation and release to production
• Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and support technical escalations
• Intermediate English
