Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technical Program Manager located in Littleton, MA.

Reporting to the Vp. Of operations the Technical Program Manager represent and lead the Jetcool Operation's team and its partners through the transition of new designs from Engineering into mass production. This is a new role for Jetcool and carries with it the core responsibility to develop and lead Manufacturing NPI projects that support corporate phase gate go to market programs.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Working in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Operations and external value-add partners, ensure there are comprehensive cross functional NPI project plans that incorporate individual tasks, dependencies, resource allocations, critical milestones, and action item reporting ensuring all are aligned with corporate NPI programs
  • Working alongside Engineering Technical Program Managers, build project schedules that incorporate cross functional manufacturing tasks, inclusive of key value-add suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Participate in regularly scheduled program meetings providing Operation's status and readiness to support corporate go to market schedules and objectives
  • Plan, schedule and manage on-going individual Operation's NPI program meetings inclusive of key value-add suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Prepare and measure individualized and aggregate resource allocation plans. Highlighting resource constraints and offering trade-off recommendations
  • Maintain rigorous program risk assessments and response plans that enable proactive decision-making
  • Represent Operations to corporate Flex Program Management Office meetings and reports as needed
  • Ensure Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Supplier(s) needs are reflected in Operation's NPI programs
  • Demonstrated experience building cross functional NPI project schedules in Gannt chart formats
  • Domain expertise in quantitative and qualitative management and leadership of complex NPI programs. Particularly utilizing a phase-gate NPI model.
  • Experience working with Sales, Business Development and Engineering during early product formation phases
  • Extensive experience working with value-add suppliers and contract manufacturers ensuring Jetcool's NPI program management approach integrates seamlessly with supplier NPI processes
  • Demonstrated ability to apply negotiating and listening skills during times of high stress
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering on commitments.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • 4-year college degree, masters preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years relevant industry experience, particularly in high volume environments
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing multiple NPI programs at a time
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical and mechanical-fluid products
  • Experience leading NPI programs that incorporate global component, value-add and contract manufacturing suppliers
  • Experience working with MS Project, PLM and ERP systems
