Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an [Sr. Portfolio Management Manager] located in [New Taipei, Taiwan]. Reporting to Director, Product Management.

This position will in charge of driving measurable operational improvements.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Analyze and Report: Conduct detailed analysis, reporting, and presentations on customer and product-level profit and loss (P&L) metrics. Develop actionable plans to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive Cost Improvements: Lead CBOM (Costed Bill of Material) improvement projects by identifying new sourcing opportunities or redesigning existing components.
  • Optimize Manufacturing Costs: Initiate and manage projects focused on direct labor and manufacturing overhead (MOH) cost reductions.
  • Deliver Quantifiable Results: Ensure all planned cost reduction activities are executed on schedule and deliver measurable dollar savings over time.
  • Performance Tracking Focus: Distinguish this role from traditional product management by emphasizing ongoing performance tracking and operational improvements, not just product launches.
  • Executive Communication: Present progress updates and results of cost improvement initiatives to management.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Product Management Background: Minimum of 8 years in product management.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and manage diverse variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong experience with profit and loss (P&L) metrics.
  • Cost Reduction & Efficiency: Proven track record in driving cost reduction and operational efficiency projects.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to communicate complex results to senior leadership.
  • Cost Structure Knowledge: Broad understanding of cost structures; factory-side experience is preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on ongoing performance measurement and process improvement.
  • Change Management: Strong communication skills and patience, especially when managing resistance to change within design and operations teams.
  • Language: Fluent English is mandatory.
