Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Director, Liquid Cooling Specialist located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the VP Operations, this role involves being lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and validation of liquid cooling infrastructure, with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention to generate growth for the business.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Provide technical leadership for the design and development of complex liquid cooling solutions in the data center Hydraulic Dynamics at the rack and server level.
  • Responsible for the thermal and mechanical implementation of fluid distribution systems within server racks.
  • Expertise in fluid systems design to deliver high performance liquid cooling with production level reliability.
  • Contribute to the design of servers, racks, and associated data center building blocks.
  • Develop interface management for liquid systems and develop standards by which the team is able to scale our liquid cooled systems development in pace with the growth of AI.
  • Ensure projects meet technical, cost, and time objectives, ability to oversee NPI (New Product Introduction) phases and infrastructure readiness.
  • Responsible for creating product specifications, interface control documents, and associated collateral.
  • Implement continuous improvement and define performance KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with thermal dissipation and energy requirements across liquid and air-cooling systems.
  • Drive alignment and execution of complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and performance, to align goals, timelines, and execution.

Experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of industry experience related to thermal systems design and development.
  • Technical engineering experience managing in operations & engineering (Processes, Product, Equipment, Assembly, Tests, FA & Facilities).
  • Understanding of thermal and mechanical design principles, fluid dynamics, pumps and compressors, mechanical vibration and shock, valve and manifold design, material compatibility, manufacturing processes, and validation.
  • Experience with Thermal/Fluids simulation using Ansys/Fluent.
  • Liquid cooling processes, cold plate soldering and thermal management in electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of water pressure systems, flow control, and thermal dissipation in high-performance environments.
  • Experience managing clean room environments, cooling systems, and POD cooling connections within advanced manufacturing settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence through deep technical knowledge.
  • Skilled in managing highly complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Oversee the execution and integration of four core areas: NPI Plan (New Product Introduction), SCP Clean Room, Cooling System, POD Cooling Connections.
  • Fluent English.
